Today, 8th October is Marked as Indian Air Force Day. The Indian Air Force, also Known as the (Bhartiya Vayu Sena) is the Air arm of the Indian Armed Forces. On 8th October 1932 with 8 Pilots and 19 Airmen IAF was Born. Hence, Every Year the Indian Air Force Day is Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm n Fervor at Various Air Stations all Over the Country on October 8.

Indian Air Force Day is Held to Give Respect n Honor to the Services that our Indian Air Force pay to the Country. This year, that is, in 2018, the Central Air Command will Celebrate Its 86th Anniversary of Indian Air Force. The Indian Air Force, Ranks as the Fourth Largest Air Force in the World. With 1,485 Fighter Aircrafts n 1,40,139 Heroes. In the Last eight Decades, IAF has Technologically Evolved n Grown in Strength to thwart any threat to the Nation. A Grand Salute to the Dedication n Hardwork of Indian Airforce. Their Dedication n Prowess Ensure that our Skies are Safe


Did You Know In January 2002, the Government Conferred the Rank of Marshal of the Air Force on Arjan Singh making him the First n only Five-Star Officer with the Indian Air Force n Ceremonial Chief of the Air Force.


The Motto of Indian Air Force has been taken from 11 Chapter, 24 Verse of the Bhagvat Gita the Discourse given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna on the Battlefield of Kurukshetra during the Great War of Mahabharata.
