National Youth Day

Today is the 156th Birth Anniversary of One of The Greatest Son of The Land and The Symbol of India's Soul Swami Vivekananda (Narendranath Datta). We Celebrate National Youth Day (Yuwa Diwas) Every Year on 12th January on his Birth Anniversary. It was First Celebrated in 1984 by the Congress Government to Mark Swami Vivekananda's Birthday.

Swami Vivekananda was Born on 12 January 1863 in the Shimla Pally in Calcutta, Bengal Presidency, British India (Present Day Kolkata, West Bengal, India). Swami Vivekananda Original Name was Narendranath Datta. Swami Vivekananda was the Sixths of the Ten Childrens of his Parents. His Father, Vishwanath Datta was an Attorney at the Calcutta High Court and His Mother, Bhubaneswari Devi was a Very Simple and a Religious Housewife. Swami Vivekananda was a Bright Student at School and in College. He Completed his Graduation in Arts. then He Met Ramakrishna Paramahans and He became a Disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahans. After the Passing Away of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahans. He Becoming Sannyasi and got the New Name Swami Vivekananda and In 1893 He Participated in the Religious Conference at Chicago, United States of America and He Delivered his Speech on Greatness of Hindu Religion and this Memorable Speech made him Famous in the World and then He travelled in the Eastern Part of US and London to Spread the Message of Vedanta and In London He Met Margaret Noble (Sister Nivedita) later She Become One of Vivekananda’s Closest Disciples and In 1897, He Returned to India and He Founded the Ramakrishna Mission at Belur Math near Calcutta (Kolkata). He Passed away on 4th July, 1902  at the age of 39

Swami Vivekananda Believed that a Country’s Future lies in the Hands of its Youth. The Importance of Youth in a Country’s Development Cannot Be Undermined. The youth Holds the Power to Create a World Free of Poverty, Unemployment, Inequality, Racial Discrimination and Exploitation of Man by Man. India has the Largest Youth Population in the World today. Nearly two-thirds of India’s Current Population is Below the age of 35. While this Young Demographic has the Potential to turn the Country into an Economic Superpower in the Next two Decades.

Swami Vivekananda was a Patriotic Saint Who not Only made India and Hinduism Proud in the World But Ensured that the Westerners and Europeans see India and Its Culture in a New and Respectful Light. He has Shown the World, How to Maintain Communal Peace and Harmony. He is like the Blazing Sun which Burns Itself to Give Life to the Universe Because all His work in a Short Lifespan of 39 years, Continues to Inspire Millions, Worldwide

Jallianwala Bagh Massacre

The History of Indian Independence War is Full of Stories of Oppression of Britishers n Such a Story is about Jallianwala Bagh. Today is the 100th anniversary of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. Which is a Black Mark on the Historical Map of our Country. It was on this Day, When the Colourful Festival (Baisakhi) turned into a Blood Bath. Each April 13 is Remembered as Jallianwala Bagh Day when Massacre of Thousands of Innocent Pilgrims by the British Army Officer Michael O'Dwyer at Jallianwala Bagh.
